Embarked from Sydney, 20 May 1918; disembarked Liverpool, England, 10 July 1918. Marched in to 14th Training Bn, 11 July 1918. Proceeded overseas to France, 8 October 1918; taken on strength, 3rd Field Artillery Brigade, 15 October 1918.

Permanently detached to 1st Divisional Ammunition Column, 4 February 1919. Transferred to England (Non-Military Employment), 5 March 1919. Granted leave, 4 April-4 October 1919 with pay only, to gain further experience as fitter & turner, Caversham Motors Ltd, Caversham, Reading.

Commenced return to Australia on board 'Aeneas', 31 May 1919; disembarked Melbourne, 12 July 1919; discharged, 29 July 1919.
