Marched into Rest Camp, Port Said, 6 September 1917; rejoined Regiment, Kazar, 16 September 1917. Admitted to 2nd Light Horse Field Ambulance, 20 October 1917 (perineal abscess), and transferred same day to Anzac Recovery Station; to 76th Casualty Clearing Station, Rafa, 21 October 1917; to Ambulance Train, 23 October 1917, and admitted same day to 43rd Stationary Hospital, El Arish; transferred to 24th Stationary Hospital, 25 October 1917; to 14th Australian General Hospital, 27 October 1917; to Convalescent Depot, Abbassia, 31 October 1917; discharged to duty, 10 November 1917.
