Military Medal 'During the period 16th/17th September, 1918, to cessation of hostilities on 11th November, 1918, Driver TANGEY has been continuously with this Battalion. His work at all times has been most exemplary. He has shown a fine soldierly example to his comrades. On the 18th September, 1918, during operations in front of JEANCOURT he displayed much courage and initiative when engaged in drawing dummy tanks into position on the tape line. His work was excellently executed under heavy machine gun and shell fire.'
