Military Medal 'At BOIS DE CHREPY on the 11th August 1918 during a heavy counter attack by the enemy at 7 a.m. this N.C.O. showed great ability and thoroughness in collecting all stragglers and Lewis Guns. He at once organised these into posts and was greatly responsible for breaking off the counter attack and inflicting heavy casualties on the enemy.'
