Proceeded overseas to France, 8 February 1917; marched into 4th Australian Divisional Base Depot, Etaples, 9 February 1917.

Proceeded to unit, 11 February 1917; taken on strength of 16th Bn, in the field, 13 February 1917.

Posted as 'Missing in Action, 11 April 1917'.

Now, 5 July 1917, posted as 'Captured, Reincourt, 11 April 1917, and interned at Limburg'.

Died, Rugen Hospital, 13 October 1918 (cause not stated).
