Wounded in action (date not recorded), and admitted to 17th Australian General Hospital, Alexandria, 31 May 1915 (gun shot wound, arm: severe); transferred to Cyprus, 22 June 1915; disembarked Suez from Cyprus, 24 July 1915. Marched in to Overseas Base, Mustapha, 1 August 1915; transferred same day to 17th Australian General Hospital, Alexandria, (rheumatism fever); discharged to duty, 3 September 1915. Embarked for Gallipoli, 4 September 1915; rejoined Bn, Gallipoli, 10 September 1915. |
