Military Medal 'For conspicuous conduct during operations at LIHONS on 11th August whilst a member of a fighting patrol. Private TURMINE showed great initiative and courage in crossisng the rear of the enmey in Auger Wood, recapturing 4 prisoners of the 10th Battalion and killing their escort.'
