Military Medal 'During the attack on night 29th/30th August, 1916, Sergeant TURBBULL was in charge of a guiding patrol on the right flank of the Brigade attack. On reaching his first objective, he got into the trench and bombed the enemy out. Handing over the trench to a bombing section, he went on with his patrol, reached the second objective and gained entry by means of bombs. This N.C.O.'s work is much above the average. Near MOUQUET FARM.'
