Disembarked Alexandria, 28 December 1915 (general Gallipoli evacuation). Admitted to 3rd Field Ambulance, Tel el Kebir, 5 February 1916, and transfered same day to No 2 Australian Stationary Hospital; to Hospital Train, 6 February 1916, and admitted same day to No 2 Australian General Hospital, Ghezireh; transferred to No 1 Auxiliary Hospital, 6 February 1916; to No 4 Auxiliary Hospital, Abbassia, 22 February 1916; to No 1 Auxiliary Hospital, Heliopolis, 5 April 1916.
