Military Medal 'During a raid on the enemy lines in the MDORLANCOURT Sector, South of Albert, Private WALKER, who went across with the raiding party on the night 22nd/23rd June 1918, rendered splendid service throughout the night in assisting to carry wounded men back to our lines. Working with Lance Corporal WEILEY, and in the face of heavy enemy machine gun and minewerfer fire, he succeeding bringing in six men who were lying wounded out in NO MAN's LAND. He worked untiringly throughout the night over ground constantly swept by machine gun fire and st a fine example of courage and devotion to duty.'
