Wounded in action, 7 June 1917 (gun shot wound, left arm), and admitted to 12th Field Ambulance; discharged to duty, 11 June 1917; rejoined Bn, in the field, 13 June 1917.

Admitted to 10th Australian Field Ambulance, 22 June 1917 (urticarial rash), and transferred to Divisional Rest Station; rejoined Bn, 29 June 1917.
