Admitted to No 1 Convalescent Camp, Heliopolis, Egypt, 4 June 1915 (influenza).

Admitted to General Hospital, Heliopolis, 2 October 1915 (gastro tendonitis); discharged to duty, 27 November 1915; joined ANZAC Division at Moascar, 29 February 1916; taken on strength of 21st Howitzer Brigade and pooled to Brigade Ammunition Column, Tel el Kabir, 10 March 1916.
