Statement, Red Cross File No 2850304, 761 Lance Corporal R.M. TATE, 31st Bn, 21 May 1917: 'I saw Walsh's grave at Eton (sic) Hall Cemetery to the right of Cellar Farm Avenue at Fleurbaix. A service was held over the burial by the Presbyterian padre, Cpt Cranston. Walsh himself was an R.C. A cross was erected over the grave with name number and unit upon it.'
