Meritorious Service Medal 'For particularly good service and devotion to duty as N.C.O. i/c of Divisional Headquarters Canteen. This N.C.O. did remarkably good work in salving valuable stores from the Div. Dump at METEREN in April last when that town was under heavy shell fire (Period covered 25th February to 17th September 1918).'
