Wrote to Defence, 7 July 1971, to claim the 'Anzac Medal, and stated 'I took part in the "Gallipoli Landing" from 25th April to the [sic] December 16, 1915 - 1916.' Note on file: 'No record of Gallipoli service. Emb for Australia on SS Ceramic from Suez on 4/5/15 medically unfit.' |
