Admitted to hospital (measles), 27 February 1918; rejoined unit, 12 April 1918. On furlough in the United Kingdom, 24 November 1918; rejoined unit, 10 December 1918. Found guilty of being absent without leave, 3 pm 9 December, to 3 pm 10 December 1918: awarded 4 days' Field Punishment No 2 and forfeiture of 5 days' pay.

Commenced return to Australia, 23 July 1919; disembarked in Australia, 11 October 1919; discharged, 3 December 1919.
