Military Medal 'In an operation against the enemy position at MERRIS on night 9th/10th July, 1918. During the dvance, Pte BRIDGE assisted in bombing and capturing an enemy machine-gun post which was holding up the advance. Later his Section attacked a party of the enemy who were advancing against his post. Throughout the attack he showed great coolness and set a splendid example to his comrades.'
