Meritorious Service Medal 'For continuous good work and devotion to duty as R.Q.M.S. to the Battalion. His work has ben of very great assistance to the Battalion throughout a long period. During the operations East of HAMEL his work of organising and getting supplies forward greatly assisted the Battalion in maintaining its fighting efficiency. At all times he is tireless in his efforts for the welfare and feeding of the troops. His handling of supplies and equipment is largely responsible for the economic running of the Battalion.'
