Admitted to No 3 Field Ambulance Advanced Dressing Station, 1 September 1915; transferred to 1st Australian Casualty Clearing Station, 3 September 1915 (dysentery); transferred to Mudros, 3 September 1915, and then to No 2 General Hospital, Cairo, 9 September 1915; to Mena Convalescent Depot, 8 October 1915 (diarrhoea); discharged to duty, 20 October 1915.
