Military Medal 'During the operation of the evening of the 4th February, 1917, near GUEUDECOURT, the Sector where WILSON was stationed, was heavily shelled and bombed, causing casualties to the whole gun's crew and disabling the gun. WILSON promptly restored the gun to action, rallied the men in the trench, and then with conspicuous bravery carried the wounded men to safety through very severe shell fire. He maintained a fine spirit throughout.'
