Military Medal 'For individual courage and initiative during the operations at PASSCHENDAELE, East of YPRES, on 6th November 1917. When the N.C.O.s became casualties, Private WILSON assumed control of his platoon, and by personal courage and prolonged effort, cheered and led the men throughout a severe and continuous bombardment. His conduct during previous actions has been consistently good.'
