Embarked Sydney, 19 December 1917; disembarked Suez, Egypt, 16 January 1918; entrained at Suez, 24 January 1918; detrained at Port Said, 24 January 1918; disembarked Taranto, Italy, 2 February 1918; entrained at Taranto, 5 February 1918; detrained at Cherbourg and proceeded to England, 12 February 1918; disembarked Southampton, England and marched in to Sutton Veny Command Depot, 13 February 1918; transferred to 4th Pioneer Bn, 20 May 1918; marched out to Detachment Party, Deviges, 23 May 1918; marched in to Wiltshire Regiment Depot, Devizes, 2 July 1918.

Proceeded overseas to France, 29 July 1918; marched in to Australian Infantry Brigade Depot, Havre, France, 31 July 1918; marched out to unit, 4 August 1918; taken on strength of 4th Pioneer Bn, 8 August 1918; appointed Driver', to complete establishment, 1 February 1919; reverted to Private on becoming surplus to establishment, 28 March 1919; detached for duty with Australian Headquarters, Havre, 17 May 1919; marched out to England, 10 June 1919; disembarked Southampton and marched in to Weymouth Command Depot, 11 June 1919.

Commenced return to Australia on board HT 'Ulysses', 22 July 1919; disembarked Sydney, 5 September 1919; discharged, 28 September 1919.
