Meritorious Service Medal

'For consistently good work and devotion to duty from 25th February to 16th September, 1918, Sergeant BRODIE, as Battalion Sanitary N.C.O., has rendered excellent service. The sanitiation of the various camps occupied by the Battalion has left nothing to be desired, due to his indefatigable energy and the pride he has taken in his work. In the line when responsible for the sanitation of the trenches his work has at all times stood out as an example to all. Often, at times he has rendered invaluable asssistance in taking ammunition, water, etc., forward to front line Companies when it was urgently required.'
