On 7th April, 1918, he took part with his Company in an attack on BOIS de HANGARD, when he displayed exceptional courage and bravery. On June the 5th, 1918, in front of MORLANCOURT, during an enemy attack on our lines, he again displayed great bravery in dealing with the enemy.
