Admitted to 4th Casualty Clearing Station, 23 August 1916 (influenza); transferred to Ambulance Train No 15, 24 August 1916, and admitted to 13th General Hospital; transferred to England, 26 August 1916, and admitted to 3rd London General Hospital, Wandsworth, 27 August 1916; discharged to No 1 Command Depot, Perham Downs, 5 September 1916; marched in to 13th Training Bn, 25 September 1916. Proceeded overseas to France, 8 February 1917; rejoined Bn, in the field, 13 February 1917.
