Admitted to Dermatological Isolation Hospital Abbassia, 25 January 1916; discharged to duty, 12 March 1916; total period of treatment for venereal disease: 48 days.

Taken on strength, 13th Bn, Serapeum, 3 April 1916.

Admitted to No 3 Auxiliary hospital, Heliopolis, 15 April 1916 (deformed right foot); marched in to 4th Bn, Tel el Kebir, 9 May 1916.
