Fell out on march to Ferry Post, and transferred to 5th Divisional Details, Tel el Kebir, 27 March 1916; admitted to New Zealand Stationary Hospital, 28 March 1916 (heat stroke); discharged to duty, 3 April 1916. Transferred to 60th Bn, 18 May 1916, and taken on strength, Ferry Post. Embarked Alexandria to join the British Expeditionary Force, 18 June 1916; disembarked Marseilles, France, 29 June 1916.
