Transferred to A Squadron, 6th Light Horse Regiment, Anzac Cove, 6 October 1915. Admitted to 1st Australian Casualty Clearing Station, 27 October 1915 (diarrhoea and debility), and transferred same day to HS 'Rewa'; disembarked Malta, 2 November 1915, and admitted to St Patrick's Hospital; transferred to All Saints' Convalescent Hospital, 11 November 1915; to St Paul's Hospital, 2 December 1915 (jaundice); discharged to All Saints' Hospital, 21 December 1915; discharged to Active Service, 4 January 1916; embarked Malta for Alexandria, 4 January 1916; rejoined Regiment, Maadi, 13 January 1916. Taken on strength, 15th Field Artillery Brigade, Tel el Kebir, 29 March 1916.
