Military Medal 'For conspicuous gallantry and devotion to duty. On the 5th April 1918 during the attack on our line opposite DERNANCOURT Gunner ALLSOP - the Medical Orderly to his Battery - carried out his duties with untiring effort and under most trying conditions. His fearlessness, devoted attention to the wounded and splendid behaviour under heavy shell fire set a splendid example to all present and earned for him the highest esteem of his comrades.'
