Meritorious Service Medal 'This N.C.O. has berved continuously with the Brigade as Orderly Room Sergeant during the period September, 1917, to February, 1918, during which time he was on duty at Advanced Brigade Headquarters in the fighting at BROODSEINDE and operations in the YPRES Sector in September, October and November, 1917. He has always shown a very keen sense of duty and his work has been of a very high standard. He is indefatigable and always cheerful. This N.C.O. has now an unbroken record of two years magnificent work with these Headquarters.'
