Military Medal 'For great gallantry and devotion to duty in operations before LIHONS on 10/12th August, 1918. L/Cpl. BUSBRIDGE fought with great determination throughout and was one of the few men left in a post which, although greatly outnumbered, held up the enemy attack for nearly an hour until reinforcements restored the situation. This N.C.O. set a fine example and greatly inspired the men of his section.'
