Marched out to 13th Training Bn, 6 March 1917. Admitted to Group Hospital, Hurdcott, 25 March 1917 (no further details recorded). Found guilty, 4 August 1917, of being absent without leave from 8 am, 1 August, to 8 am, 3 August 1917: awarded 5 days' Field Punishment No 2, and forfeited a total of 8 days' pay. Trnsferred to Australian Army Medical Corps Details, Parkhouse, 25 September 1917; marched in to Australian Army Medical Corps Training Depot, Parkhouse, 26 September 1917.
