Wounded in action, and admitted to 17 General Hospital, 9 May 1915 (gun shot wound, scalp); transferred to Convalescent Camp, Alexandria, 13 May 1915; discharged to duty, 5 June 1915. Embarked Alexandria for Gallipoli, 8 June 1915.
