Found guilty, at sea, of (1) being absent without leave (under 6 hours); (2) drunkenness; (3) creating a disturbance: awarded 24 hours' detention.

Disembarked Plymouth, England, 3 March 1917, and marched into 7th Training Bn, Rollestone.

Found guilty, 12 April 1917, of being absent without leave from 6 am, 10 April, until reporting at 4.30 pm, 10 April 1917: awarded 1 day's confined to camp and forfeiture of 2 days' pay; total forfeiture: 3 days' pay.

Found guilty, 22 May 1917, of being absent without leave from 6.30 am, 14 May, until 9.20 am, 19 May 1917: awarded 14 days' confined to camp and forfeiture of 18 days' pay; total forfeiture: 24 days' pay.

Admitted to 1st Australian Dermatological Hospital, Bulford, 1 June 1917; discharged to Convalescent Training Depot, Parkhouse, 7 March 1918; total periodoftreatment for venereal disease: 280 days.
