Admitted to 14th Field Ambulance, 25 February 1917; transferred to 45th Casualty Clearing Station, 26 February 1917 (chanceroid); to 51st General Hospital, Etaples, 12 March 1917; discharged to Base Depot, 20 March 1917; total period of tresatment for venereal disease: 8 days.

Appointed to DP Corporal, 4 July 1917; reverted to permanent rank, 7 November 1917.

On leave to United Kingdom, 15 November 1917; rejoined unit from leave, 29 November 1917.

Appointed to DP Corporal, 2 January 1918; reverted to permanent rank, 23 January 1918.
