Admitted to 13th Casualty Clearing Station, Anzac, 20 September 1915 (pneumonia); transferred to HS 'Guildford Castle', 20 September 1915; admitted to 15th General Hospital, Alexandria, via Mudros, 25 September 1915; transferred to Ras el Tin Convalescent Home, 30 September 1915; trasferred to Australian Base, Alexandria, 7 October 1915.

Embarked Alexandria to rejoin MEF, 18 October 1915; admitted to A&NZ Base, Mudros, 28 October 1915; rejoined Bn, Gallipoli, 6 November 1915.

Disembarked Alexandria, 9 January 1916 (general Gallipoli evacuation).
