Marched in to 1st Training Bn from hospital, 12 May 1917. Admitted to Sutton Veny Military Hospital, 29 October 1917 (pleurisy); marched in to 1st Training Bn, Sutton Veny, 21 November 1917.

Proceeded overseas to France, 12 March 1918; taken on strength, 15th Bn, 18 March 1918.

Admitted to 4th Australian Field Ambulance, 13 July 1918 (influenza); transferred to 5th Casualty Clearing Station, 13 July 1918; to 9th General Hospital, Rouen, 17 July 1918; to England, 21 July 1918, and admitted to 1st Eastern General Hospital, Cambridge, 22 July 1918.
