Western Front: Disembarked Marseilles 23 June 1916; admitted to 2nd Australian General Hospital 28 June 1916 (diarrhoea); discharged from hospital to duty (enteritis) 8 July 1916; taken on strength, 5th Division Base; rejoined 30th Battalion 15 August 1916.
