Admitted to No 8 Australian Field Ambulance, 10 September 1917 (nervous debility); transferred to No 7 Canadian Stationary Hospital, 10 September 1917; to No 7 Convalescent Depot, Boulogne, 30 September 1917 (neurasthenia); to No 10 Convalescent Depot, Ecault, 12 October 1917; to No 3 Rest Camp, 17 October 1917; marched into 5th Australian Divisional Base Depot, Le Havre, 19 October 1917.
