Detached to Australian Army Service Corps, Moascar, 5 February 1917, and marched out to Depot Unit of Supply. Detached for duty with and taken on strength of Headquarters, Australian Army Service Corps, Anzac Mounted Division, 24 June 1917.

Admittede to 6th Stationary Hospital, Ismailia, 4 August 1917 (piles); transferred to Cairo, 10 August 1917, and admitted to 14th Australian General Hospital; to British Red Cross Convalescent Hospital, 11 September 1917; to 14th Australian General Hospital, Abbassia, 24 September 1917; rejoined unit, 10 October 1917.
