Wounded in action, 21 August 1918 (gun shot wound); remained with unit.

On leave to united Kingdom, 26 September1918; rejoined unit, 15 October 1918. On leave to UK, 17-31 March 1919; leave extended to 14 April 1919.

Commenced return to Australia on board HT 'Karmala', 2 July 1919; disembarked Melbourne, 7 August 1919; discharged, 25 September 1919.
