Admitted to 4th Australian Field Ambulance, 12 June 1918 (anaemia), and transferred same day to 5th Casualty Clearing Station; to Ambulance Train No 14, 14 June 1918, and admitted to 1st General Hospital, Entretat, 15 June 1918; to 1st Australian Convalescent Depot, 30 June 1918; rejoined unit, 10 August 1918. Wounded in action (19 August 1918), and admitted to 4th Australian Field Ambulance; transferred to 37th Casualty Clearing Station, 20 August 1918; to Ambulance Train No 16, 20 August 1918, and admitted to 9th General Hospital, Rouen, 21 August 1918.
