Military Medal 'During the advance near MORLANCOURT, South West of ALBERT on 29th July 1918, Private ANGUS was placed in charge of a section of rifleman and led them with great dash, charging a machine gun post, killing the crew and capturing the gun. Later while mopping up enemy trenches on the right flank he showed great bravery and leadership, himself capturing 5 prisoners and causing many casualties. Throughout the operations this man's utter disregard of danger was an inspiring example to those under his command.'
