Military Medal 'For conspicuously good work and leadership during operations near ZONNEBEKE on morning of 26th September, 1917. When a Forward Party of signallers and runners had become partly disorganised through heavy enemy shelling, 2nd Corporal CORKER took charge, reorganised the party and quickly succeeded in opening communication. He personally went through several heavy enemy barrages to mend lines and by his bravery and cheerfulness, set a splendid example to all.'
