Embarked Sydney on HMT 'Orontes', 5 June 1918.

Admitted to Hospital at sea, 17 June 1918 (venereal disease); discharged from Ship's Hospital, 14 July 1918 (total period of treatment for venereal disease: 28 days); disembarked Liverpool, 11 August 1918; marched into 14th Training Bn, Codford, 12 August 1918, and allotted to reinforcements for 60th Bn. Transferred to reinforcements for 8th Bn, 2 October 1918, and marched into 1st Training Battalion, Sutton Veny. Proceeded to France through Southampton, 22 November 1918, and marched into Australian Infantry Base Depot, Havre; moved out to join unit, 27 November 1918; joined 11th Bn in field, 5 December 1918.

Admitted to 2nd Australian Field Ambulance, 10 December 1918, and transferred to 5th Casualty Clearing Station diarrhoea); rejoined unit, 2 January 1919; detached to 1st DADAS, 7 March 1919; rejoined unit from detachment, 14 May 1919; moved out from field, 15 May 1919. Marched into No. 1 Group, 24 May 1919.

Admitted to 1st Australian Dermatological Hospital, Bulford, 2 July 1919.
