Admitted to No 1 Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Harefield, 5 March 1918(gunshot wound, left eye; old); discharged, and marched into No 2 Command Depot, Weymouth, 18 May 1918.

Granted leave in England for family reasons from 30 July 1918, until 30 October 1918.
