Admitted to 37th Field Ambulance, 3 February 1917 (bronchitis); discharged same day.

Admitted to 34th Casualty Clearing Station, 3 February 1917 (bronchitis); transferred to 6th Stationary Hospital, Havre, 4 February 1917; to 1st Canadian General Hospital, Etaples, 9 February 1917; to England, and admitted to Edmonton Military Hospital, 2 March 1917; to 2nd Australian Auxiliary Hospital, Southall, 16 March 1917; discharged on furlough, 21 March 1917, to report to No 4 Command Depot, Wareham, 4 April 1917.
