Military Medal 'On August 29th, 1918, at SUZANNE, this Non Commissioned Officer who was in charge of the 25th Battery Signallers, received orders to lay a line to the Battery O.P. He personally laid this line and maintained it, although subjected the whole time to heavy hostile shell fire. Sergeant CRAPP showed great coolness and a disregard for personal safety, thereby setting a splendid example to the men under his control.'
