Military Medal 'For continuous good service during the period 16th September 1918 to 11th November 1918. During the attack on the HINDENBURG Line, by his coolness and courage he set a splendid example to his comrades. This Non Commissioned Officer did excellent service at MESSINES, PASSCHENDAELE, VILLERS BRETONNEUX and BRAY and has always been of immense value to his Unit.'
