'For consistent good work and devotion to duty. C.Q.M.S. CURWEN has acted in that capacity for over a year and has always proved himself a capable, zealous and thoroughly reliable N.C.O. He has seen much line work thats participated in all operations, getting his rations and ammunition through many thick barrages. He has always shown great personal interest in the matter of economy and salvage and has been invaluable to the R.Q.M.'
